Required Qualifications
- PhD in bioinformatics, plant biotechnology, molecular biology, or a related field.
- Publications in a field related to the topic.
- Good organizational skills and experience working in a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Expertise in the application of statistical methods for anaysis of experimental data and experience in high-throughput data processing generated by NGS sequencing, HPLC/MS techniques, as well as digital phenotyping systems.
- Competence in computational and bioinformatics tools such as R, Python, transcriptome and genome analysis tools, computations in Linux environment, HPC, TopHat, Bowtie, DESeq2, enrichment analysis tools, Genevestigator, psRNATarget, OmicsBox, etc.; experience in utilizing public databases for omics study (e.g., EnsemblPlants, NCBI, GrainGenes, KEGG, miRbase, Plant Reactome).
Main Responsibilities
- Conducting statistical analyses.
- Performing bioinformatics computations and in silico identification of transcripts.
- Processing multiomics data and integrating results from all work packages (WPs) within the project.
- Constructing regulatory networks.
- Assisting in data management.
- Preparing scientific manuscripts.

- Quality and number of publications in which the candidate is first author or corresponding author, number of citations of the candidate's work (Web of Science Core Collection) and Hirsch Index;
- Number of patents/patent applications and/or implementations (if applicable);
- Quality and number of research projects and development work led (if applicable).
- Mobility in their scientific career, including completed scientific internships, change of scientific profile, internships and work in industry.
