The Director of the Polish Mother's Memorial Hospital- Research Institute  
announces a contest for the scientific position of:  
assistant with simultaneous provision of medical services in the Intensive Care and Congenital Defects Clinic of Newborns and Infants - scientific discipline - medical sciences. 

The purpose of the contest is to fill the position of a scientific assistant with simultaneous provision of full-time medical services in the Intensive Care and Congenital Defects Clinic of Newborns and Infants. The candidate should have a master's degree or equivalent, knowledge of English.  

1. Application addressed to the Director of the PMMHRI for employment in a scientific position   

assistant with simultaneous provision of medical services in the Intensive Care and Congenital Defects Clinic of Newborns and Infants.          

2. Certified copies of documents confirming your qualifications  

    professional (diploma, right to practise the profession, specialisation, academic degree). 

3. Current curriculum vitae taking into account the course of professional work and scientific career           

    (including participation in the implementation of scientific and research projects).  

4. Candidate's statement of English language proficiency.    
5. List of publications (according to the layout given below). 
6. Bibliometric evaluation of published scientific achievements from the last 2 years,  

    conducted by the PMMHRI Scientific Library. 

7. Scientific development plans, including applying for research funds from external sources (with particular emphasis on EU funds). 
8. In the case of signing an employment contract, it is necessary to submit statements, information and certificates of no criminal record from the National Criminal Register referred to in Article 21 et seq. Act of 13 May 2016 on counteracting the threat of sexual crime and protection of minors (Journal of Laws 2023.1304, i.e. no later than the date of signing the agreement.

The application should be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Recruitment for the scientific position of assistant with simultaneous provision of medical services in the Intensive Care and Congenital Defects of Newborns and Infants" with the name and surname, correspondence address and contact phone number from 20.05.2026. to 10.06.2026 on working days from 8.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.  

If the application is sent by registered mail or courier mail, the date of receipt of the application to the "Institute of the Polish Mother's Health Centre" is decisive. 

The competition will be decided on 11.06.2026 at 8.15 a.m. in the teaching room No. 1 in the gynaecology and obstetrics building of the PMMHRI in Łódź (the presence of candidates is mandatory).  

On the application please write: "Pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of RODO, I hereby declare that I consent to the processing by the data administrator, which is Polish Mother’s Memorial Hospital Research Institute in Lodz, of all my personal data included in the submitted documents, including my image (if a photo has been uploaded) for the purpose of the recruitment process."

PMMHRI reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time during its duration without giving any reason, to postpone the deadline for submission of applications and to change the start and end dates of the competition proceedings.
