In collaboration with our partners at UCC, APC Microbiome Ireland and Teagasc Moorepark, our goal is to examine potential benefits from microbial and dietary variant fermentation reactions.
The main goal of this application is to evaluate effective metabolite alterations as indicators for potential health benefits.
The successful applicant will have experience of metabolite analysis by mass spectrometry using targeted and untargeted approaches as well as bioinformatic applications for follow up analysis. This project is supported by external, non-grant-in-aid funding.

Post Duration: 12 months, with a possibility of extension to 18 months
Salary: €37,873 - €45,041 p.a. (IUA Salary Scale)
