On 8 August 2017, the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM) had been awarded by European Commission with the Human Resources Excellence in Research logo. Through this logo, the European Commission recognizes that the Academy's / University's regulations and practices are in line with European values of ethics, freedom, and transparency, as well as with other principles set out in the European Researcher Charter and the Code of Conduct for Researchers Recruitment.
