The implementation of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers (Charter & Code) is a major component of the European Union's strategy to stimulate employment and economic growth, by creating a competitive, transparent and open labour market for researchers.
As you know, to implement the principles of Charter & Code, a practical tool has been set up: the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R). This 5-step procedure enables research institutions applying to be part of the process, to truly integrate the principles in their own Human Resources policy, thereby promoting the organisation as a stimulating and favourable work place.
The European Commission managing the HRS4R implementation procedure, is now looking for experts to assess applications from institutions wishing to be involved in the process.
Experts involved in HR management/implementation and/or having implemented the procedure in their respective institutions should register.
Please note that NO FINANCIAL COMPENSATION is offered (for the moment), since the workload of this ‘remote’ assessment is rather low. Read more on the registration website.
